Eisa in the company of deputy chief of the Indonesian mission in Cairo Burhanuddin Badruzzaman cut a red and white ribbon marking the opening of the Indonesian stand.
Also present at the opening ceremony were chief of the CIF`s organizing committee Ahmed Al Dib, Governor Mounofia and a number of invitees.
Eisa opened the Indonesian stand after opening the two-week long fair which brings together more than 1,000 companies from 17 countries.
Speaking to the press after cutting the ribbon, Eisa expressed gratitude to Indonesia for its participation in the expo which will last until March 30.
"I should like to thank Indonesia for its participation. This international expo shows the world that Egypt is secure in the wake of revolution," he said.
The 17 countries include Malaysia, India, Taiwan, Thailand, Venezuela, Tanzania, Algeria, Palestine and Iraq.
A total of 11 Indonesian companies are taking part in the expo, not to mention four agents of Indonesian products in Egypt.
The companies are PT. Sekawan Cosmetic, Nahdi Jewelry, PT. Bina Karya Prima, CV. Afaq Erfani, Reny Feby Jewelry, PT. FG. Artha Sejahtera, PT. Harvest Chemical Solutions, Komunitas Pengusaha Muslim Indonesia (KPMI), PT. Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia, PT. Andaw Ngensowidjaja and PT. Savindo Karya Perdana.
They display a wide range of products including cosmetics, batik, coffee, tea, and handicraft goods. (*)
