Los Angeles (ANTARA News/Xinhua-OANA) - At least one person died as a result of the collision of two small planes over Longmont near Denver, capital of the U.S. State of Colorado on Friday.

The mid-air collision happened around noon time, sending one plane spiraling to the ground, while the other clipped a power line and crashed near an airport, according to local media reports.

Investigators are trying to determine whether there were any more fatalities in that accident.
