"Based on the information obtained from our embassy in Abuja, the victim`s name is Widya Utomo - a flight engineer on the plane," he remarked, adding that the victim`s family has been contacted.
The Dana aircraft crashed into a residential area in the Lagos metropolis, killing all those on board as well as 40 residents of a two-storey building that was hit by the aircraft.
Meanwhile, hundreds of wailing relatives of the passengers of the crashed airplane besieged the local wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Ikeja, seeking information about the flight.
Tony Usidamen, the airline`s spokesperson, who addressed the passengers` relatives outside the departure hall, read out the names of the passengers who were on board the ill-fated flight.
Usidamen told the passengers` relatives that he had no more details to give them, saying that rescue operations were still underway at the crash site in Iju, Agege, near Lagos.
He later confirmed to reporters that there were no survivors of the crash.
The aircraft, with the registration number 5N-RAM, reportedly crashed at around 4:00 pm local time.
Efforts to rescue the victims of the crash were hampered by the presence of a huge crowd of onlookers, miscreants and sympathisers.
The inaccessibility of the crash area also made it difficult for rescue teams - which included the police, the Red Cross, the army, the Federal Road Safety Commission, the Nigerian Air Force and the fire service - to reach the plane.
Femi Osanyintolu, the general manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, told reporters that the building into which the plane crashed must be demolished for any rescue operation to take place.
He added that they had to be cautious while demolishing the building because it was situated in a residential area.
