Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to attend the 7th G-20 Summit in Los Cabos, Mexico, on June 18-19, according to presidential spokesman Teuku Faizasyah.

"President will attend the G-20 Summit and be the keynote speaker at the Business-20 meeting," Faizasyah said here on Thursday.

He added President Yudhoyono would also attend the Los Cabos Financial Inclusion event, which would be held at the same location.

"Indonesia, at the summit, would call for the establishment of a more conducive environment for global economic recovery. Indonesia would also strive to make the interests of developing countries the main agenda at the G-20 Summit," Faizasyah stated.

The Group of Twenty, or G20, is the premier global forum for cooperation on economic and financial issues, which brings together the world`s major advanced and emerging economies.

The G20 includes 19 member countries and the European Union, which together represent around 90% of global GDP, 80% of global trade, and two-thirds of the world`s population.

The 20 members are Argentina, France, Japan, South Africa, Australia, Germany, Mexico, Turkey, Brazil, India, Republic of Korea, United Kingdom, Canada, Indonesia, Russia, United States, China, Italy, Saudi Arabia and the European Union.(*)
