Present at the memorial ceremony were Ruteng`s Bishop Mgr Hubertus Leteng, deputy Religious Affairs Minister Nazaruddin Umar, NTT Governor Frans Lebu Raya, Manggarai District Head Christian Rotok, and local religious and community figures.
During the occasion the head of state was accompanied by First Lady Ani Yudhoyono, Health Minister Nafsiah Mboi, Culture and Education Minister Muhammad Nuh, Defense Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro, State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Tourism and Creative Economic Minister Mari Elka Pangestu, TNI Chief Admiral Agus Suhartono, National Police Chief Gen Timur Pradopo, and Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam.
After the ceremony, the president and his entourage will go to Labuan Bajo and then return to Jakarta on Friday afternoon.
