Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia boxer Angky Angkota said he would knock out his opponent Yonfrez Parejo from Venezuela in the fifth round when they meet here on Friday.

"I am ready for tomorrow`s fight I have been through long days of hard training," Angky said during weigh-in here on Thursday.

He said he is confident to stop Parejo not beyond the fifth round but he is prepared to go through the whole rounds to win on points.

Angky, 31, was weighed in at 52.7 kilograms and Parejo at 53.4 kilograms.

He said he never saw Parejo in the ring but said he could pass the first two to three rounds to study his opponent`s movements.

His coach Sutan Rambing said Angky has been prepared to fight to the last round.

"Angky has the experience and good spirit. We need only to improve his boxing skills," Sutan Rambing said.

Angky has been trained not only to attack but also to improve his defense to be able to go through the whole rounds.

The match is to highlight the 91st annual WBA convention in Jakarta.

In the previous WBA convention in 2003 in Bali, Indonesian Chris John won the WBA feather weight title, and he is still the reigning champion.
