Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia’s triathlon squad delivered a dominant performance at the 2025 SEA Games on Tuesday, sweeping all three team events held at Laem Mae Phim in the Klaeng District.

The gold medal haul began with the Women’s Aquathlon Team Relay, where Martina Ayu Pratiwi, Binta Erlen Salsabila, and Kayla Nadia Shafa secured first place, outperforming the Philippines and Singapore, who took silver and bronze, respectively.

The Men’s Team quickly followed suit. The trio of M. Noval Ashidiq, Rashif Amila Yaqin, and Al Kautsar captured the second gold of the day in the Men’s Aquathlon Team Relay, maintaining Indonesia’s momentum in the multisport event.

Indonesia completed the sweep in the Mixed Team Relay. The quartet of M. Noval Ashidiq, Kayla Nadia Shafa, Rashif Amila Yaqin, and Martina Ayu Pratiwi finished first to secure the country’s third gold in the discipline.

The triple-gold performance has pushed Indonesia’s total gold medal count to 57. As of Tuesday evening, Indonesia holds second place in the provisional standings, behind host nation Thailand, which has collected more than 140 gold medals.
