KUNSHAN, China, Nov. 12, 2012 (ANTARA/PRNewswire) -- The 2012 World Cyber Games (WCG 2012) will once again be held in Kunshan, China. This year's World Finals will be held in Kunshan International Exhibition Centre from Nov 29 to Dec 2. More than 500 contestants from over 40 countries and regions are expected to participate.
Established in 2000, WCG aims at creating healthy and harmonious Internet Culture. Tempered over ten years, it has become a global electronic competition of the greatest scale with participants and viewers worldwide. Cyber Game masters from around the globe will gather in different cities and share the joy and passion of the Cyber Games with other Cyber fans.
Brad Lee, CEO of WCG, has stated that contestants of the WCG 2012 World Finals will compete in nine games: Warcraft 3,StarCraft 2,Cross Fire,FIFA12,DOTA2,World of Tanks,Online Counter Strike,DotaAllstar and QQ Speed.
Except Dota2, all the promotion places for the games being played at the WCG 2012 Finals in China region have been released. Contestants (on the promotion list) will represent China to participate in the WCG2012 World Finals on Nov.29th.
WCG 2012 World Finals' tickets are currently on sale both online and offline. Barley net, the biggest ticket platform in China is offering tickets online that Apple and Android system mobile phone users can also purchase using APP software. In addition, 42 cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou have ticket agencies. Only single-day tickets will be offered in Kunshan during the Finals for 50RMB/day.
