Juliana said in a press statement made available here on Monday that the new entity aims to become the leading value-added service provider in the wireless device industry in Indonesia and other selected markets in Southeast Asia.
Trikomsel is Indonesia`s leading mobile device retailer and distributor while Brightstar Corp is the world`s largest specialized wireless distributor and a global leader in wireless services.
In addition to distributing mobile and connected devices, the joint venture will focus on delivering a wide range of supply chain services for operators, retailers and mobile device original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that are eager to tap into the broad opportunities in the dynamic Indonesian market.
