"We admit that Kitchee is one of the strongest teams in the tournament..."Padang, West Sumatra (ANTARA News) - The Semen Padang football team has determined to grab one point in facing Hong Kong Kitchee FC at AFC cup to be held in Mongkok Stadium, Hong Kong on April 2, 2013.
"We admit that Kitchee is one of the strongest teams in the tournament and the team has high skill players, so our target is only to get one point," the Semen Padang (SP) coach, Jafri Sastra here on Monday.
According to him, it will be hard for SP to defeat Kitchee, especially the match will take place before fanatical supporters of the Hongkong club.
However, Jafri said that his team has prepared everything in effort to fight Kitchee FC, including to learn the playing style of the Kitchee FC.
Jafri said further that he has applied several tactics in anticipating the Kitchee`s strategy.
There is an opportunity to grab point from Kitchee, after its three foreign players have returned to the club, he said.
Kitchee FC is now at the top of group E standings with six points after defeating Churchill Brothers and Singapore Warriors.
Meanwhile, Semen Padang is currently at the second place of the standings with four points, after beating the Singapore Warriors and draw with Churchill Brothers.
