Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Ministry of Education and Culture has asked Air Force to help distribute the national examination sheets 2013 for senior high school students in 11 provinces in central Indonesia.

"We apologize for all technical failure that caused the national examination 2013 in 11 provinces postponed. Therefore, we ask the Air Force to help distribute the examination sheets to the provinces," Education and Culture Minister Muhammad Nuh said here on Sunday.

The 11 provinces that have to postpone the national exams are South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara and Gorontalo.

According to him, the Air Force has prepared some planes such as four Hercules, one Fokker and one Boeing 737, for distributing the examination sheets to the provinces.

A total of 5,190 senior high school students in the 11 provinces have been waiting for the exams.

The final examination has to be delayed from Monday (April 15), to Thursday (April 18), because the printing of examination papers was not ready yet, the Education and Culture Minister said.

"We will no longer distribute the examination sheets through the regular flight schedule because it will cause another delay," the minister said.
