In the past few days, oil production reached 842,000-845,000 bpd, the head of the upstream oil and gas special task force SKKMigas, Rudi Rubiandini, said here on Monday.
"In June, average production may increase to 850,000 bpd," he said.
Nearly 7,000 bpd of the oil production hike will come among others from West Madura Offshore operated by Pertamina, 6.000 barrels from Offshore North West Java operated by Pertamina, and 5,000 from Banyuurip operated by Mobil Cepu Limited.
In the 2013 state budget, the government has set oil lifting (net production) at 900,000 bpd.
He said maintenance at the Tangguh project operated by BP Berau Ltd in Papua province will have been completed by May 21, 2013 and therefore, its oil production will increase again to 3,000 bpd.
"What is more, the production loss caused by the unplanned disturbance has been kept down to less than 10,000 bpd from up to 22,000 bpd thanks to the available equipment," he said.
The government is to propose a draft revision of the 2013 state budget to the House of Representatives (DPR) as soon as possible following a plan to raise the price of subsidized fuel this year.
It will also propose a revision of oil price and quota in the 2013 state budget.(*)
