"We are always available for negotiation , any time any minute," he said.
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Populist Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo warns against attempt to derail the city`s public health program, saying any problem could be ironed out through negotiations.

The people are entitled to health care, Jokowi, as he is popularly known, said.

"We are always available for negotiation , any time any minute," he said on Monday at Halim Perdanakusuma airport seeing off President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on a foreign trip.

Recently more than ten of hospitals in the city withdrew from taking part in the city`s public health program over payment dispute.

Jokowi said currently the city administration is still calculating the premium for health security.

He said in Jakarta the premium already reached Rp23,000 higher than Rp15,000 nationally.

"The problem, therefore, lies in technical implementation. We can discuss about that but don`t back out," he said.

When asked about interpellation move in the city council, Jokowi said he is ready to give explanation about the problem surrounding the public health program including about some hospitals deciding to terminate participation in the program. (*)
