Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono here on Monday received a delegation of the Chinese Communist Party of Guangxi Province led by the party`s secretary general, Peng Qianghua.

During the meeting with the Indonesian head of state, Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia Liu Jianchao accompanied the delegation which included the party`s deputy secretary general, Lin Huaiyong, Guangxi`s director general for foreign affairs, Li Wenjie, and Guangxi`s director general for international bureau, Zeng Junjian.

Yudhoyono was flanked by Industry Minister MS Hidayat, Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan and Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam.

"I was informed that you and your delegation is visiting Indonesia to increase bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and China particularly in the economic and socio-cultural fields. I warmly welcome the plan, and hopefully our relations will be strengthened in the future," he said.

Peng Qianghua said he was happy that he and his delegation were received by President Yudhoyono and his ministers.

The Guangxi delegation is in Indonesia to explore business and investment opportunities and to officiate the China-Indonesia Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone in Bekasi, West Java.
