Data from the Directorate General of Debt Management (DJPU) showed on its official website on Tuesday total marketable state securities reached Rp896.71 trillion until July 5, 2013.
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Foreign holding of marketable state securities reached Rp284.62 trillion up to July 5, 2013 rising from Rp282.86 trillion at the end of June 2013.

Data from the Directorate General of Debt Management (DJPU) showed on its official website on Tuesday total marketable state securities reached Rp896.71 trillion until July 5, 2013.

By July 1, 2013, the foreign holding of marketable state debts was recorded at Rp284.14 trillion out of a total of Rp888.51 trillion.

The Rp284.62 trillion worth state securities held by foreigners were part of the state securities owned by non-bank parties reaching Rp548.37 trillion.

Besides foreign parties, part of the total namely Rp39.92 trillion is owned by mutual funds, Rp127.145 trillion by insurance companies, Rp29.48 trillion by pension fund, Ro1.07 trillion by securities companies, Rp25.02 trillion by individuals and Rp41.12 trillion by others.

Banks` ownership meanwhile reached Rp321.70 trillion and Bank Indonesia`s ownership Rp26.64 trillion.

In June 2013, foreign ownership of state securities reached Rp282.96 trillion down significantly from May 2012.

At the end of May 2013, foreign holding of state securities was recorded at Rp302.94 trillion out of a total of marketable state securities worth Rp895.77 trillion.

The foreign ownership was part of non-bank ownership that reached Rp566.71 trillion.

Besides the foreign ownership the total marketable state securities were also owned by banks reaching Rp306.26 trillion and Bank Indonesia Rp22.81 trillion.

The non-bank ownership includes mutual funds holding Rp41.45 trillion, insurance companies Rp127.17 trillion, pension fund Rp28.46 trillion, securities companies Rp0.92 trillion, individuals Rp25.29 trillion and others Rp40.40 trillion.(*)
