I can confirm that those four students left Pakistan last August and headed to Turkey."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan Burhan Muhammad has confirmed that four Indonesian students previously reported missing had already left for Turkey.
Ambassador Muhammad said in a press statement received by Antara here on Wednesday that the four students had departed for Turkey in August 2013, and their passports have been identified. The students are Arisdiantoro Sunarno Sumo (passport number: V 790134), Dawin Nuha Abdullah (V 795642), Muhammad Fakhri Insani (V 790133), and Rusydan Abdul Hadi Amir (V 790132).
The four students were attending the Bachelor of Science program in Islamic Studies at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Pakistan.
"I can confirm that those four students left Pakistan last August and headed to Turkey," he was quoted as saying in the statement.
Previously, the Indonesian Students Association (PPMI) in Pakistan had said in a press statement, a copy of which was made available to Antara here on Wednesday, that four Indonesian students pursuing their education in Pakistan had reportedly disappeared since Aug. 21, 2013.
