Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) said it evacuated three more bodies on Wednesday from the aircraft disaster location in the sea off Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan.

The three brought the number of bodies to six evacuated by the agency since Tuesday, when the first sign of the missing Airbus A320-200 aircraft was located in the sea around 150 kilometers off Pangkalan Bun.

The ill-fated aircraft of AirAsia Indonesia was declared missing on Sunday a few minutes after taking off from Surabaya en route to Singapore with 162 people on board including 7 crew members.

The district administration of Kotawaringin Barat had made available 168 coffins in Pangkalan Bun.

An Air Force Hercules aircraft also has brought in a number of coffin from Jakarta.

Basarnas said search and rescue work was hampered with heavy rain and bad weather .

President Joko Widodo has ordered the agency to coordinate search and the agency has sent divers to the location .

The aircraft is believed to lie in the sea bed estimated to be 32 meter deep.(*)
