Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Polices special anti terrorist killed two and arrested seven suspected terrorists in a clash in Central Sulawesi.

They are believed to be members of the Mujahidin group in eastern Indonesia under Santoso, police said.

"Those caught alive are identified as AQ, Az, S, F, Ai, H and N. The DNA of the two killed is being examined to determine their identities," police headquarters spokesman Brig.Gen. Agus Rianto, said here on on Monday.

The suspects were arrested in police operations in cooperation with the Central Sulawesi police from Friday to Monday.

Agus said on Friday a suspect was nabbed identified as AQ, who served as a courier for the terrorist group Police confiscated from him ammunition and a number of hand phones .

On Sunday two other suspects were killed in a clash with the anti terrorist squad in the village of Gayatri, regency of Poso, Central Sulawesi.

On the same day police arrested five other suspects identified as Az, S, F, Ai and H in Makassar, Sout Sulawesi.

"The five were courier and took part in military training by the Mujahidin group in eastern Indonesia under Santoso," Agus said.

On Monday , another terrorist suspect identified as N was nabbed in Kota Luwuk, Central Sulawesi.

Police are still investigating the seven suspects caught alive . (*)
