Signal of agreement to agree on settling the Greek debts lifter international creditors` optimism ..."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Rupiah in inter-bank transaction traded at the level of 13,268 per US dollar gaining from previous level of 13,331 per dollar.
"Signal of agreement to agree on settling the Greek debts lifter international creditors optimism giving positive impact on the financial markets in developing countries including Indonesia," chief researcher of Monex Investindo Futures Ariston Tjendra said.
Ariston said Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras would meet chairman of the European Commission, European Central Bank (ECB) and the International Monetary Fund to finalize agreement on bridging fund.
Some analysts predicted that the probability of an agreement is high although agreement might be reached at the last minutes, he said.
Chief researcher of NH Korindo Securities Indonesia Reza Priyambada said apart from the Greek sentiment , the rupiah gain was also attributable to receding sentiment of the Fed related to its plan to raise interest rate.
He said the Fed is certain to raise its fund rate this year , but it still shows caution on when and how big the increase.
"The time and the level of the increase will depend on the US economic data," he said.
