"It is a responsibility to the public as a form of sovereignty of the people," Zulkifli Hasan said when opening the Plenary Session of the Peoples Consulutative Assembly (MPR) Annual Session here on Friday.
According to Hasan, the implementation of the Annual Session has been through a series of meetings including a joint meeting of MPRs members and heads of state institutions.
"President has supported the implementation of the Annual Session in order to build togetherness among heads of state institutions," he remarked.
The opening of the Annual Session was attended by heads of state institutions including President Joko Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla, Working Cabinet ministers, former president and former Vice President, ambassadors of friendly countries.
The annual session was also attended by former President BJ Habibie, former President Megawati Sukarnoputri, former Vice President Try Sutrisno and former Vice President Hamzah Haz.(*)
