Cabinet reshuffle plans also became one of the subjects of discussion in a closed-door meeting among President Joko Widodo, Vice President Jusuf Kalla, and the officials of government supporting the party on Thursday night.
"The meeting of the government supporting party with the president and myself is a routine. We talked about political matters, the matter of cabinet reshuffling was also part of the talks, but the president said it was not yet time to do so," Kalla noted.
On Thursday night, President Joko Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla held a closed meeting with the leaders of the Indonesia Great Coalition party (KIH) at the Presidential Palace.
During the meeting, the Vice President said they only discussed the conditions of the current administration, including the economy, politics, and international relations.
The vice president said the name of Koalisi Indonesia Hebat (KIH), or the Indonesia Great Coalition, remains unchanged, but has changed its stance to become a government-supporting party.
"The KIH did not change its name, but changed its position to become a government-supporting party," the vice president stated at the Shangrila Hotel here on Friday.(*)
