The head of state arrived at the location at 11:20 p.m. Eastern Indonesia Standard time (WIT), but was not accompanied by First Lady Iriana Jokowi.
The event, however, was also attended by Tourism Minister Arief Yahya, Head of the Presidential Office staff Teten Masduki and West Papua Governor Abraham Octavianus Atururi.
Upon his arrival at the entertainment stage, Jokowi shook hands with the audience.
After being entertained by a slew songs sung by Edo Kondologit, the President walked on to the entertainment stage.
While heading to the stage, President Jokowi shook hands with the audience. Having reached the stage, the President waved both hands to convey greetings to all Indonesians gathered at the location.
President Jokowi left the venue at around 11:27 p.m. local time.(*)
