"Hans Heinrich Meyers body was found around 50 meters from the sea side on Thursday (May 19)," according to Ketut Candra, a boat skipper here on Friday.
Ketut, along with a security man of the Lovina Hotel, managed to locate the victims body at the beach.
After searching for some 20 minutes, they found the body lying face down. It was immediately evacuated to the beach, Ketut pointed out.
"I found him lying face down and already dead," Ketut noted.
Efforts were, however, made to administer medical assistance, such as oxygen and defibrillator paddles, but to no avail.
Hans body was subsequently rushed to the Paramasidhi Singaraja hospital.
Hans was not equipped with swimming gear, Ketut added.(*)
