The president and Gorontalo Governor Rusli Habibie left for Pohuwato District aboard an Air Force helicopter from Djalaludin Airport, Zukrie Suratinojo, spokesman of the Gorontalo provincial administration, remarked.
Jokowi is being accompanied by First Lady Iriana, State Enterprises Minister Rini Soemarsno, President Director of State Utility Company PT PLN Sofyan Basir, and Chairman of the Presidential Staff Office Teten Masduki.
The Paguat PLTG, with a production capacity of 100 megawatts (MW) of electricity, is part of the governments plan to generate 35 thousand MW.
