Ensure that the people of Central Sulawesi find it easy to avail education ..."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated Central Sulawesi Governor Longki Djanggola and Vice Governor Sudarto for the 2016-2021 period at the State Palace here on Thursday.
Before the inauguration, President Jokowi handed Djanggola and Sudarto the excerpt of the presidential decree of their appointment as regional heads.
Djanggola and Sudarto will be leading Central Sulawesi Province for the second time as the duo had served as the governor and vice governor during the 2011-2016 term.
During his inaugural speech, President Jokowi, on behalf of the nation and people of Indonesia, congratulated Djanggola and Sudarto, who were reelected governor and vice governor of Central Sulawesi.
"The people of Central Sulawesi are certainly happy to welcome you with renewed spirit for the new mandate and spirit of your leadership," Jokowi stated.
President Jokowi also called on the duo to focus on the mandate to reduce the suffering of the people by freeing them from poverty, reducing inequality and social disparities between regions, and spurring economic growth.
"Ensure that the people of Central Sulawesi find it easy to avail education, health services, and clean water supply," Jokowi remarked.
