Lebak, Banten (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) presented one thousand "sembako" or basic food parcels containing 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar, 10 eggs, one can of milk, and green beans, to villagers in Warunggunung Sub-district, Lebak District, here, Sunday.

Besides, 200 out of the one thousand recipients also received additional milk and biscuits from the health ministry, Indri Septiani, a local officer said.

President Jokowi was accompanied by First Lady Iriana, Health Minister Nila F Moeloek and Banten Governor Rano Karno during the working visit to Banten.

Most of the recipients were senior citizens, women and elementary students.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) paid a working visit to Banten Province on Sunday, to check medical facilities for the public in several districts.

He was scheduled to visit the community health centers (Puskesmas) in Warunggunung and Baros located in Lebak District, and Kaduhejo Puskesmas in Pandeglang District.

The President was also expected to have dialogs with villagers of Margaluyu, Karanghantu, and Sawah Luhur in Kasemen Sub-district, Serang.

In the evening, Jokowi will join local Muslims for a mass takbir on the eve of Idul Adha or Sacrifice Feast, in Al Bantani Mosque.

On Monday morning, the President will perform Idul Adha Prayers in Ats Tsauroh Grand Mosque located in Pegantungan, Serang, and later present a cow weighing 800 kilograms as a sacrifice from him.(*)
