The two were identified as XSS and MNI.
This was disclosed by the Chairman of the KPK, Agus Rahardjo, at a press conference here on Saturday.
"The KPK has named three suspects --- XSS, MNI and IG --- in an alleged case of corruption by the state apparatus," informed Agus.
He narrated the chronology in the KPK operation in which the suspect was caught red-handed on Friday night.
It all began when XSS, MNI and WS (sister of XSS and MNI) came to IGs house on Friday at 22:15 hours.
Then around 00.30 hours, the three came out of IGs house and the KPK team approached them while they were in a car parked in the yard of the house.
"KPK officers asked them to go back into the house and demanded that IG should hand over the package containing money taken from XSS and MNI."
The bundle was found containing currency worth Rp100 million. Agus claimed the money was fee charged for recommending the sugar import quota for West Sumatra area.
The KPK said the recommendations can influence the logistics board, Bulog, in deciding the sugar import quota.
The KPK has called upon officials of the executive, legislative, law enforcement and the public not to be involved in corruption cases.(*)
