"Let us just wait for the results of the investigation for 24 hours. He confirmed that the police arrested five suspected terrorists in Jakarta and surrounding areas on Friday.

"We arrested them today at 11 am from different locations in Bekasi (West Java), East and West Jakarta," he disclosed.

They were arrested following a long drawn investigation by the polices anti-terrorist squad, Densus 88, he added.

"According to information from Densus 88, investigation was still going on. The suspects have been identified by their initials as WW, S, AU, R and D," he pointed out.
