Trial has been set at 9am at Kusuma Atmadja Room of the North Jakarta district court, North Jakarta district court spokesman Hasoloan Sianturi said here Tuesday.
The trial would be led by chief judge Dwiarso Budi Santiarto along with four other judges as panel members consisting of Jupriadi, Abdul Rosyad, Joseph V. Rahantoan and I Wayan Wirjana, he said.
Trial sessions, however, would be carried out for the time being at the Central Jakarta district court on Jalah Gajah Mada because the North Jakarta district court building on Jalan RE Martadinata is still under renovation.
The case was registered with the North Jakarta district court on December 1, 2016 by Irene R. Korengkeng as the prosecutor.
Meanwhile, the Attorney Generals Office has appointed 13 senior officials as prosecutors in the controversial case that has sparked much public attention.
"From the beginning we have intensively conducted communication and co-ordination, and since investigation was started we have also formed a team of prosecutors as examining prosecutors consisting of 13 senior prosecutors," Attorney General Prasetyo said at a meeting with House Commission III overseeing legal affairs.
The 13 prosecutors have been appointed since the process of the case was carried out, he said.
The team of prosecutors was led by Ali Mukartono who is the former chief of Bengkulu high court and now a director at the deputy attorney general office for general crimes, he said.
