Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named five corruption suspects in the procurement of urea tablet fertilizer by state forestry company Perum Perhutani Unit 1 Central Java in 2010-2011 and 2012-2013.

"After further investigations KPK found corruption with five new suspects in the fertilizer procurement," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said here on Tuesday.

The five suspects are divided into two groups .

The first group of three suspects involved in the fertilizer procurement in 2010-2011 with suspects head of Perum Perhutani Unit 1 for the period of 2010-2011 Heru Siswanto (HS), Chief executive of PT Berdikari, a state-owned trading company, for the period of 2010-2011 Asep Sudrajat Sanusi (ASS) and another senior official of Perum Perhutani Unit 1 for the period of 2010-2011 Bambang Wuryanto.

The second group was two suspects involved in the fertilizer procurement in the period of 2012-2013. The two were Chief Executive of PT Berdikari for the period of 2012-2013 Librato El Arif (LEA) and head of Perum Perhutani Unit 1 for the period of 2012-2013 Teguh Hadi Siswanto (THS).

Earlier KPK already named Siti Marwa, an official of PT Berdikari for the period of 2010-2012 charged with corruption in the fertilizer procurement, Febri said.

"Those named suspects and already convicted since 2015 included Siti Marwa Budianto Halim Widjaya , Sri Astuti, a commissioner of PT. Timur Alam Raya, Aris Hadianto , chief executive of CV Jaya Mekanotama," Febri said.

The suspects and the convicts are charged with markup in the prices of fertilizers.(*)
