Try arrived at the palace at 9:30 a.m. local time and the two held a closed door meeting for 30 minutes, head of the Press and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin said.
Jokowi is also scheduled to have a meeting with former president BJ Habibie later in the day.
Try and Habibie were vice President under the Government of President Suharto.
Habibie served briefly as President replacing Suharto who was forced to step down after ruling the country for more than three decades.
In the past several days, Jokowi has invited a number of former national leaders, political party and religious leaders to discuss national issues including those considered a threat to the national unity.(*)
