Tehran, Iran (ANTARA News) - Irans Supreme Leader, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has urged all states and governments as well as freedom seekers around the world to continue to help the Palestinians in their efforts for independence and establishment Palestinian state.

Seyyed Ali Khameni conveyed the call here on Tuesday, in a speech to the participants of the 6th International Conference in Support of the Palestinian national struggle for independence.

"Palestinians keeps struggling over the Israeli occupation because the people including the youth and children are brave," the Iranian Supreme Leader said, adding that the fulfillment of the Palestinian peoples needs is the responsibility of all nations, especially Muslims.

Thus, Seyyed Ali Khamenei reminded the conference participants to not ignore the battles in the West Bank because the area sustains the burden of the Palestinian struggle.

"Learning from the past, the Palestinians uprising against Israel should receive full attention of all. The Palestinians struggle is longer and more valuable than the differences among the Muslim and the Arab countries," he said.

"Supporting the Palestinians struggle is the responsibility of all of us unconditionally," Irans Supreme Leader said.

The Iranian Parliament has organized an international conference in support of the Palestinian struggle for five times.

The first conference held on October 19-22, 1991 followed by the 2nd conference on April 24-25, 2001, the 3rd on April 14-15, 2005, the 4th on March 4-5 2009 and the 5th on October 1-2, 2011.

All the conferences were held in Tehran attended by parliamentarians, political figures, cultural and scientific experts from various countries in the world.

The 6th Conference held on February 21-22 attended by 80 foreign delegations from various countries in the world, 700 foreign guests and representatives of pro-Palestinian organizations.(*)
