The head of state was accompanied by Religious Affairs Minister Lukman Hakim Saifuddin and Minister/State Secretary Pratikno.
The selection team comprises chairman Mulya Efendi Siregar, deputy chairman Yunus Husein, secretary Nur Syam, and four out of the six members of the BPKH.
The members who were present were Halim Alamsyah, Nazaruddin Umar, Din Syamsuddin, and Hadiyanto of the Finance Ministry.
"Since we received Presidential Decree No 127 dated October 24, 2016, on our appointment as members of the selection team, we have held meetings and announced that there will be a selection of BPKH members," Siregar noted.
