Head of the Press, Media and Information Office of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin noted in a press release received here on Saturday that Widodo met Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte during his first bilateral meeting.
Widodo also received leaders of the business sector in Europe, particularly from Germany, during a business forum.
The meetings with Trump, Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phucey, Norwegian prime minister, and President Jae-in are held on the sidelines of the G20 Summit Meeting.
In his meeting with Prime Minister Rutte, Widodo discussed cooperation to develop the economy and security sectors.
Widodo urged the Government of the Netherlands to support the exports of Indonesian crude palm oil products to the European region.
Additionally, the president expressed hope that the Indonesia-EU Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement would help to develop economic cooperation between Indonesia and the Netherlands.
The president also discussed the security situation, particularly related to the efforts to eradicate terrorism, with Prime Minister Rutte.(*)
