"I believe we can make (our) economy skyrocket through young people, who would be facilitated by the government," she stated, on the sidelines of the third meeting of Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) of China-Indonesia, here on Friday (Feb 9).
Earlier, Marsudi visited "Technopark" at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
Tsinghua University is well-known, especially to Indonesians, as one of the best universities in China, which was visited by Industry Minister, Erlangga Hartarto, last year.
"We spoke about the economic leap in China, where Technopark supports China's economic growth," she noted.
Technopark is not only a center for discussion of science and technology-based industry for academics but also a place to absorb young people's talents by Chinese investors.
Chinese investors regularly conduct face-to-face auditions with students on the campus.
"This campus has changed the mindset from Made in China to Created in China. We also need to change our mindset to become Created in Indonesia," Marsudi remarked.
She further added that the mindset would have an effect on Indonesian industry development.
"Later, we would emerge as an assembling site for industrial goods, so that it will be more beneficial for all Indonesian people," she revealed.
During the visit, Marsudi was informed by Chief of TusHoldings Operational Herbert Chen that the Technopark Tsinghua University had earned some 25 percent (income) for the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and 23 percent for tax revenues of China.
"We will give considerable support to China's economy," Chen pointed out.
