"President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) asked me to open the governmental meeting ahead of his speech in front of the participants," Kalla stated here.
Some attendees of the meeting are head of districts and mayors, as well as leaders of the regional House of Representatives.
According to Kalla, the president had been caught in a traffic jam during his travel to the JI-Expo.
He stated that developing countries experience traffic jams, because people have better revenue to buy vehicles.
He added that the government was still improving the infrastructure to handle traffic jams by developing access roads and toll roads.
The meeting was purposed to accelerate investment realization in some regions in Indonesia, the vice president explained.
"The meeting will also discuss steps to ease investment process in each region. We need investment to increase the economic growth from 6-7 percent," Kalla revealed.
