President Jokowi was accompanied by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security, Wiranto, and the Foreign Minister, Retno LP Marsudi. The dinner was closed to the media.
Before the dinner, President Jokowi held a bilateral meeting with the President of Myanmar Win Myint, in Bilateral Room 1, Shangri-La Hotel. "I want to congratulate U Win Mynt for his appointment as the new President of Myanmar," President Jokowi stated. He expressed the hope that the new leader would bring prosperity and welfare to Myanmar. U Win Mynt was elected in March 2018.
The Coordinating Minister of Politics, Law and Security, Wiranto, the Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs, Darmin Nasution, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Retno Marsudi, the Minister of Trade, Enggartiasto Lukita, and the Head of Presidential Staff, Moeldoko, were present at the bilateral meeting.
On Saturday, President Jokowi will attend the ASEAN Summit retreat.
