Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has arrested four suspects for alleged bribery on regional financial balance funds deliberation in the 2018 draft amended state budget (APBNP).

"The arrest will be for the next 20 days, beginning Saturday, May 5, 2018," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said here, Sunday.

Three suspects caught for receiving alleged bribes are respectively Amin Santono of the Democratic Party (PD), Eka Kamaluddin, a private businessman and alleged broker in the bribery case, and Yaya Purnomo, an official of the Finance Ministry. The agency also arrested Ahmad Ghiast for giving the bribes.

The agency caught the four suspects red-handed in Jakarta and Bekasi on Friday (May 4) evening.

Amin Santono was suspected of receiving Rp400 million in bribe, Eka Kamaluddin Rp100 million as part of the commitment fee amounting Rp1.7 billion or seven percent of the total values of two property projects worth Rp25 billion in Sumedang.

Yaya Purnomo had not yet received bribes although he had received the proposals for the two projects.
