"We have to be strong like Zohri who has become the world`s 100-m sprinter champion at the age of 20 years. What secret lies behind his success? The secrete is eating fish," she said.
The minister said in a fun-walk together with athletes grouped in the All Indonesian Athletic Association (PASI) in Jakarta on Sunday.
Indonesian sprinter Lalu Muhammad Zohri won a gold medal in the 100-meter men`s sprint in the U-20 World Athletic Championship in Finland on Wednesday (July 11).
According to Minister Susi, the best protein comes from fish so that intelligence and health is also definitely due to eating fish, just like Zohri.
According to a press release from the national athletics association PB PASI, Zohri finished the race in 10.18 seconds.
Zohri, whose hometown is Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province, beat two athletes from the United States -- Anthony Schwartz and Eric Harrison -- who finished in second and third place respectively at 10.22 seconds.
The world 100-m sprinter said he loved eating fish since he was a child. His house in Lombok is located in the coastal area so that he used to go fishing and cooked his catch.
"I prefer eating fish to eating beef. I used to eat mackarel and tuna. My village is rich in tuna fish resources which is also rich in protein. Fish contains a lot of protein that could build intelligence and make us smart," he said.
