Jakarta (ANTARA News)- A total of 29 gold medals will be up for grabs during the finals of 10 sports events on day two of the Asian Games, being co-hosted by Jakarta and Palembang, South Sumatra Province, Monday.

Of the total, seven gold medals will be up for grabs in swimming, five in wrestling, four in shooting, three in taekwondo, two in cycling, two in wushu, two in weightlifting, one in the equestrian event, and one in gymnastics.

On day one of the largest multi-sport event in Asia, China grabbed seven gold medals, placing the country at the top of the medal tally. China is expected to continue to dominate the matches during the Games, in which 45 countries are participating.

Indonesia hopes to win gold medals in cycling, wushu and weightlifting on Monday.
