"Lindswell, the Queen of Wushu Southeast Asia, has now become the Queen of Wushu Asia. Congratulations," he said on his official Twitter account @jokowi.
Widodo expressed pride at the country`s athlete winning the second gold medal on the second day of the Games.
Widodo attended the final round of the event and had been seen giving her the thumbs up.
"(It is) the second gold for Indonesia on the second day of the Asian Games 2018. This morning, Lindswell Kwok grabbed a gold medal at wushu in the Taijijian All Round event at Hall B JIExpo," the President said.
Kwok won the gold medal after achieving an almost perfect score of 9.75.
Widodo`s tweet was liked by more than 5,400 users and got 3,676 retweets.
A Twitter user even joined in saying, "Congratulations Mbak (sister). We in Lombok are still mourning but we keep monitoring the event and are proud of the achievement made," Kenzie said, responding to the @jokowi tweet.
