"Our two female athletes entered the last 16 and will compete in the female master`s number," Indonesian Bowling Team Manager Ronny Arnold Mandagi stated in Palembang on Saturday.
He expressed hope that the two mainstay athletes would perform well in the match that leaves one chance for the women`s team to win medals at the 2018 Asian Games event.
On the previous two occasions, namely the women`s trio and women`s 6 teams, the Indonesian team failed to present a medal.
But in terms of score contribution, Pramanik was quite consistent in the two matches held at the biggest and most complete bowling alley in Southeast Asia.
"In terms of performance, Nadia did appear quite stable in the previous two matches; hopefully, it they be able to complement each other in the female master`s number later," he noted.
Furthermore, the Indonesian bowling manager remarked that from three days of matches, athletes should be able to measure and adapt both technical and non-technical methods in the field.
"Compared to the first day, in general, the field conditions have been better. They should be able to perform optimally," Mandagi explained.
According to him, the opportunity still exists in the female master`s number. Moreover, the scores achieved by Nadia and Tan are quite high compared to the previous two matches.
"I asked both of them to play well and evaluate their previous performance too. They were instructed to be able to play in a relaxed manner," he added.
He admitted that in the previous two women`s team matches, he was too cautious.
"Hopefully, we can still try our best in the women`s opportunities," he added. *** 4 *** (E002/INE)
