Indonesian men`s doubles coach Herry Iman Pierngadi claimed to be proud of the success of the two pairs of foster children and presented the "All Indonesia Final" to the people of Lombok, NTB, who were affected by the earthquake.

Indonesian men`s doubles player Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Fajar Alfian celebrated after defeating Chinese badminton players Li Junhui and Liu Yuchen in the 2018 Asian Games semifinal at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (Aug 27).
The first men`s doubles pair to enter the final is Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, who overthrew world champions Li Jun Hui and Liu Yu Chen from China, 21-14, 19-21, 21-13.
This was followed by the host pair, seeded in the top spot, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, who defeated the Chinese Taipei pair Lee Jhe Hui/Lee in three games, 21-15, 20-22, 21-12, in 43 minutes.

Fajar/Rian, ranked as the world number nine, have only faced a "minion" duet on the pitch at the 2018 Indonesia Open championship and at that time realized the superiority of Marcus/Kevin, who beat them directly in two games.
The All Indonesian men`s doubles final at the 2018 Asian Games was a repetition of history 44 years ago, at the Asian Games held in Tehran, Iran, in 1974.
