Nusa Dua, Bali(ANTARA News) - Hotel industry gains from the week long annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank to end in Nusa Dua, Bali on Sunday.

"The Annual Meeting of IMF-WB 2018 contributes significantly to the hotel industry at least to our seven units of hotel in Bali," said Chief Executive of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour Iswandi Said here on Saturday.

Iswandi said the state-owned hotel chain has been named an official hotel for the delegates to the IMF-WB meeting, which brought around 30,000 people from 189 countries to Bali including delegates and other invitees.

Many delegates stay in the Hotel Inaya Putri Bali, one of the hotels owned by PT Hotel Indonesia Natour in Bali, he said.

Many meetings or important events held on the sidelines of the IMF-WB meeting had been held at Inaya Putri Bali.

"The annual meeting of the IMF and WB is significant to increase the occupancy rate in October which is a low season," he said.

He said PT Hotel Indonesia Natour is lucky and pleased to have contributed to the implementation of the international event.

"As from early October , 2018 our hotels already received guests among officials preparing the international event that started Oct 8. The committee members held training , discussion , etc. at the hotel," he said.

He said Inaya Putri Bali Nusa Dua recorded an high occupancy rate of 90 percent in low season or an increase of 7.5 percentage points from last year in the same month.

Room selling prices rose to an average of 65 percent from 60 percent last year and room sales income increased sharply 60 percent.

Increase was also recorded by other hotels of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour including Grand Inna Kuta, Inna Bali Heritage, Inna Bali Beach Garden, Inna Bali Beach Resort, Grand Inna Bali Beach, and Inna Sindhu Beach Hotel & Resort.

PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero) (HIN) has 14 units of hotel in Bali, Java and Sumatra including Inaya Putri Bali Nusa Dua, Grand Inna Kuta, Grand Inna Padang, Grand Inna Bali Beach, Grand Inna Malioboro, Grand Inna Tunjungan, Grand Inna Samudra Beach, Grand Inna Medan, Inna Bali Beach Garden, Inna Bali Beach Resort, Inna Tretes Hotel & Resort, Inna Parapat Hotel & Resort, Inna Sindhu Beach Hotel & Resort, and Inna Bali Heritage Hotel.
