Therefore, year-on-year the country`s inflation in October would be 3 percent.
The Central Bank, predicted the inflation would also remain low below 3.5 percent or 3.4 percent, this year, Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo said here on Friday.
Increase in the prices of non subsidized oil fuels in mid October, 2018 contributed 0.02 percentage point to the inflation in October, Perry said.
Meanwhile the price of other food products like red onion and chicken meat declined.
The inflation remains under control at relatively low level below 3.5 percent, Perry said.
In September 2018, there was deflation of 0.18 percent mtm.
The Central Bank will hold its monthly meeting of board of governors Oct 22-23.
