Jokowi and his entourage departed for Semarang, from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, East Jakarta, on Friday at 6:55 a.m. local time, aboard Indonesia-1 presidential plane, Bey Machmudin, presidential spokesman, said in a statement here, Friday.
The new roads are Pejagan?Pemalang (third and fourth East Brebes-Sewaka sections), and Pemalang-Batang (Sewaka-Simpang Susun Pemalang) segment.
Jokowi later is scheduled to distribute land certificates to several inhabitants of Tegal.
The move is part of Jokowi`s agrarian-reform program, which aims to certify a total of 126 million hectares of land in the country.
After performing Friday prayers, the Head of State and entourage will return to Jakarta.
Members of the presidential entourage include Agrarian and Land Spatial Minister Sofyan Djalil, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Coordinator of Presidential Special Staff Teten Masduki, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Head of the Presidential Militar1y Secretariat Trisno Hendradi, and Commander of the Presidential Guards Suhartono.
