Pamekasan, E Java (ANTARA News) - Ulemas representing six countries attended the closing ceremony of the Fourth International Quran Recital Week organized at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Bata-bata, Pamekasan, Madura Island, East Java, on Sunday evening.

The six countries were Malaysia, Singapore, Lebanon, Egypt, Brunei Darussalam, and Indonesia, RH M Tohir Abd Hamid, a member of the organizing committee, noted here, Monday.

Ulemas from across Indonesia participated in the event organized on Jan 10-20.

The International Quran Recital Week focused on improvement, education, innovation, motivation, publishing, entertaining, and entrepreneurship.

Vice presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno was one of the panelists at the event.
