"It might be in a few African countries," President Director of Mayora Group Andre Sukendra Atmadja told a reporter here on Monday, Feb 18.
Atmadja explained that his team had been actively marketing their products on the African continent for potential buyers.
"Frankly, we entered Africa a bit late. The initial sales have actually begun but not intensely. In the next five years, Africa will be our focus," Atmadja stated.
Atmadja revealed that the main reason behind Mayora Group being interested in expanding its market in Africa is its 400 million middle-class citizens, who have a relatively high purchasing power, which makes it one of the best markets for Mayora`s products.
Atmadja remarked that his team will begin expansion in the African continent, starting from South Africa and West Africa.
