Jakarta (ANTARA) - Incumbent presidential candidate Joko Widodo and wife Iriana Widodo cast their votes at polling booth 008 located in the State Administrative Agency (LAN) office in Gambir, Central Jakarta on Wednesday.

Wearing white shirts, Jokowi and Iriana arrived at the polling booth at 10.00 a.m.

The president and Iriana showed their marked little fingers after casting their ballots.

Jokowi said that he felt relieved after giving his vote, saying that he would play with his grand children and there was no plan yet to meet with chairman of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri.

Earlier on the day, vice presidential candidate Ma'ruf Amin cast his vote at polling booth 051 located at Deli Street in Koja, North Jakarta.

Also wearing white shirt, Ma'ruf Amin has called on his supporters to color the polling booth white.
