Jakarta (ANTARA) - Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati obeyed a witness summons issued by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in a case against expelled president director of state electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), Thursday.

Widyawati chose to remain discreet and mum regarding the summons on arrival at the KPK building and headed straight to the anti-graft body's waiting room.

The president director of state-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina was scheduled for questioning on Monday (Apr 29) as witness in the case against the sacked PLN president director, identified by his initials as SFB. However, the interrogation was pushed forward after she fell sick.

The other witnesses making a beeline for the KPK building were Blackgold Natural Resources CEO Rickard Philip Cecil and husband of EMS, also the Temanggung district head-elect for the 2018-2023 term, M Al Khadziq.

Widyawati, concurrently ex-official of PT PLN, had been interrogated once as a witness in the same case on September 16, 2018, for the suspects, identified by their initials as EMS and IM, currently serving prison term.

The KPK had, on one occasion, sought details from Widyawati over her meeting with EMS during her term as PT PLN's planning director for holding discussions on a plan to build a thermal power plant (PLTU) Riau-1.

The anti-graft body had named SFB a suspect in the graft case in connection with the Riau-1 thermal power plant construction contract on Tuesday (April 23).

The commission has charged SFB with accepting a bribe from Blackgold Natural Resources shareholder Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo in connection with the project.
